This month, our Parkway team started the day by volunteering at the Choose to Live Foundation’s 5K Run & Walk. The annual community event brings participants, families, and volunteers together in support of suicide prevention awareness, making it a meaningful opportunity to spend time giving back to the community.
After the event, we headed to Daily Gather for lunch. Inspired by the moments shared around the dining table, Daily Gather combines traditional American favorites with Houston hospitality in a warm, welcoming setting. Their scratch kitchen focuses on seasonal ingredients sourced through relationships with farmers, ranchers, and fishermen, while putting a fresh spin on familiar classics.
What made the day special was the combination of community, connection, and time spent together. From supporting an important cause in the morning to gathering around the table afterward, it was a reminder of how meaningful shared experiences can be.
